Following the success of its initial workshop, Maltese Welfare NSW is pleased to offer a second opportunity for Maltese seniors to participate in small group sessions focused on learning essential mobile phone functions. This initiative is designed to support participants in staying connected with family and friends, all within a supportive and conveniently located environment. Members of the Maltese Welfare Committee will be available to provide assistance throughout the sessions.
The Tech Savvy Seniors Workshop is on Seniors Introduction to Smartphones
- The basics of how to navigate your way around a smartphone with a touchscreen
- How to turn the phone on and off
- Make and receive calls
- Add a contact and look up a contact
- Change the volume on the phone
- Briefly about apps – what they are, how to download them
Participants must be over 60 years old
